A pop music producer has been forced to return a painting to a Florida gallery after failing to pay for the work.Scott Storch, who has produced the likes of rapper 50 cent, is reported to have hit the financial buffers after allegedly having his credit cards refused at a club in Miami.
Gallery owner Dmitry Prut has further added to the rumours of his monetary problems by, reportedly, paying him a personal visit to retrieve the painting.
Mr Prut told the New York Post gossip column: "It's a beautiful pop culture piece of a girl raising her skirt by Amir Aziz he (Storch) said he loved it, so I gave it to him along with an invoice.
"He had it hanging in his billiards room for four months and ignored my calls to please pay me for the piece."
When his patience finally ran out Mr Prut had to drive down to Mr Storch's Miami mansion to retrieve the painting.
The Canadian not only produces pop music, but is also an occasional rapper himself.
He has produced for many artists including Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton and Jadakiss to name a few.
