'Sexy' roof for gallery

A celebrity gardener is going to transform the top of Walsall's new art gallery into a "sexy" new roof space.According to the Express and Star newspaper, Diarmuid Gavin will be weaving his particular kind of magic on top of the building to redesign the area.
The Gardening World presenter has been asked by the gallery bosses to undertake the project, which involves turning the roof into a trendy piazza.
It will apparently be resplendent in decking and shrubbery and could cost anything up to £100,000, although it is not clear where the funding will come from.
Director, Stephen Snoddy, told the Express: We want to redevelop the top of the gallery with a sexy design and we have approached Diarmuid Gavin about the project.
"Designs have still to be commissioned and this project could take some time we want to create a trendy space for people to visit which will be warm and inviting."
The Irish born 43-year-old Gavin has presented a number of BBC programmes and co-hosted makeover show Home Front with floppy-haired interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
