Interior design incentive

Style-conscious house buyers can now 'hand pick' the interior design of their new houses before moving in.Persimmon Homes, based in the East Midlands, is offering the free scheme, which also includes a furniture package, as part of its 'Move into a Showhome' initiative.
Steve Matthews, sales director, told property information website, easierproperty, that people would appreciate buying a brand new property where the interior scheme has been taken care of professionally and all they would have to do is "sit back, relax and enjoy" their new surroundings.
The scheme is available at Persimmon's development in Boston where its show home apartment has a striking black and white design, offset with pink injections.
Other designs available can be viewed at its other site in St Neots.
Mr Matthews added: "This is the perfect answer to buying and furnishing a first home.
"A professionally styled property could be the ideal solution."
House builders are increasingly likely to offer incentives to purchases with, reportedly, the housing market stalling and mortgage applications on the downturn.
