A cool house for Coldplay star

Rock band Coldplay's base player is in the process of transforming his house into the coolest place in the town.Guy Berryman and wife Jo are using their combined artistic talents in turning an old Edwardian house into a stylish haven filled with contemporary art by artists such as Damien Hurst.
Jo, co-owner of trendy boutique, Jezebell, told the Daily Mail that she got together with Guy long before Coldplay and married in 2004.
After discovering the London house they started transforming the run down building into the place of their dreams right down to the Cole & Son wallpaper and New York Mercer hotel inspired American oak floors.
Jo told the paper: "We wanted to create a family home where we can bring up our children, but also an easy living and working space that suits us both."
After deciding against using an interior designer and the discovery of dry rot they started from scratch by gutting the building.
As with most family homes they put up a few pictures, in their case, by the likes of graffiti artist Julia Chiang and ex A-Ha keyboard player Magne Furuholmen.
Coldplay have a new album due out later this year.
