Renowned artist Dave Siegel is set to hold his first artwork exhibition in the UK.The canvas specialist has already displayed his pieces in Holland, Malta and Australia and is now set for a new exhibition in Witham Hall, Barnard Castle, the Northern Echo reports.
Commenting on the new display, Siegel, who used to work in insurance before turning his hand to art, said: "Most exhibitions have more than that, but I prefer smaller numbers so they can be seen to their best effect."
The exhibition, which features a range of canvas paintings and a number of pen and ink drawings, is free to the public and will run until next Wednesday (October 31st).
Meanwhile, famous British pop artist Gerald Laing has praised the surge in affordable art.
The painter, who recently produced a work featuring Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil, claims that cheaper artwork will help artists gain more exposure.
