An African elephant has wowed his keepers by producing range of artworks that the park may put up for sale. The elephant, named Five, has been using her trunk to hold a paintbrush and has already created more than 50 pieces using her unusual technique.
Officials at the Midland Safari Park in Bewdley, Worcestershire have trained Five to pick up and put down her brush on the commands of 'paint' and 'ok'.
Commenting on the extraordinary creature, a spokesperson for the park told the Worcester News: "It is a bit of a treat for her. She likes to have a splash around with the paint and then she moves on to something different."
The 16-year-old animal has been living in the UK for the last nine years after being re-homed from a private elephant orphanage in South Africa.
