Winchester's finest show-off contemporary art

The Winchester School of Art's talented students will be exhibiting their work in a showing on Friday September 7th.The fine art and design pupils will give the public to chance to view their canvasses, prints and sculptures, reports the Hampshire Chronicle
And if interested art lovers cannot make it to the showing the works will be on view in the art schools online catalogue.
Delighted with the work of his proteges, Professor Bashir Makhoul, head of Winchester School of Art, said: "The MA Degree Show is a fantastic opportunity to see work by talented young artists who will undoubtedly go on to make their mark in the art and design world."
He added: "It is especially gratifying that some of our MA students are already winning commissions and exhibiting their work in this country and abroad."
Meanwhile, contemporary Northumberland artist Maria Cooper will have her unique artwork on show at the Pebbles Art Cafe and Gallery in Allendale throughout September.
