Lee Broom, an award winning interior designer, is set to launch his first range of artistic furniture at the London Design Festival.

Broom's pieces will be on display from the middle of September at the Brick Lane Gallery.

The items are from a range called the Neo Neon collection which combines more traditional pieces of carved wooden furniture with modern neon lighting.

Including in the rage is a 'Neon night stand', 'High Voltage vanity mirrors' and the 'Electric Louis' chair, each painstakingly craved from mahogany.

Explaining the appeal behind the unique furniture, Broom said: "You need to see these pieces face to face to really appreciate their beauty, it’s a surreal and mesmerising experience."

Broom famous work has already appeared in Nylon and Babushka, two of the swankiest bars in London and he also created the furniture for the 40 executive boxes at the new Wembley Stadium.
