Offices to host north-west contemporary artwork exhibition

The Merchant Place office development in Bolton is set to exhibit the work of creative group, the Neo Artists.The group, made up of current and former students of the University of Bolton, will inhabit the ground floor of the complex for at least six weeks from September 7th.
Neo Artists will be displaying a diverse range of pieces, including canvas artwork, sculptures and instillations, the Bolton News reports.
Hoping that the exhibition will stimulate more interest in art in the area, Jason Simpson the chairman of the group said: "Art plays a great part in the community and we are committed to bringing art into the town centre.
"This is an important regeneration area and is therefore the ideal place to exhibit the creativity of our group."
Meanwhile, a new art gallery will open in Lytham, Lancashire inside a branch of the Booth's supermarket. The grand opening will be on September 14th.
