Interior design expert offers innovative reuse options

Published on: 25-Jul-2007
A leading interior design expert has come up with an innovative new product range which offers cool new pieces which come recycled from an eclectic range of different sources.

Maloos Anvarian, of DWM Interiors and with more than 20 years experience in the interior design industry, has come up with the cool design ideas as a way to combine old-school style with a more modern drive for reusability and sustainability, reports interiordesign.net.

Accordingly, Ms Anvarian has located eclectic vintage and antique pieces of furniture, and then refashioned them into unique new design ideas using only recycled and recyclable materials such as glass, acrylic, and reclaimed wood.

Thus, a simple love seat becomes an elaborate Jester chair using Maharam's post-industrial polyester Action Fabric with wool trim, while a rather plain-looking bergere is transformed into the firm's cool new Slip Cover chair with the introduction of a little spandex.

"I created Design with Maloos [DWM] to give people access to superior design services," Ms Anvarian writes on the firm's website.

"Every project is shaped by the needs and desires of my clients, managed with utmost attention to detail, and designed to fit within their budgets.

"My goal is to help my clients make the most of their space whether it be a home or an office, or whether it's a new design or a remodel."
