Controversial wall art online boutique launches

A new online retailer has launched, offering an array of nude, figurative and erotic wall art over the internet for the first time.ObsessionArt.com is based in London and will feature pieces created by globally renowned artists and photographers within the genre.
Claiming to mix the sensual with the surreal, the people behind the online store hope their collection of wall art will appeal to a variety of buyers.
"With consumers now buying art online in larger numbers, we've developed an opportunity to bring some really very talented artists to a wider audience of buyers; the type of buyers who want the chance to buy something a little (and often a lot) different," said managing director Mark Davis.
ObsessionArt will display both classic wall art pieces from artists like Lee Jones and contemporary art from artists including Saturno Butto.
The idea behind the retailer was borne out of a frustration with the limited supply of quality art and erotica wall art for the masses, who were previously restricted to "innocuous replica images", the firm said.
