Street event celebrates canvas art

A street auction held in the name of charity and celebrating canvas art from a range of artists kicks off in London today (July 20th).Running until July 27th, Evolving Styles is a live street auction that will see a number of respected artists creating canvas artbefore their audience.
The completed wall art will then be auctioned off for charity later on in the evening, during which those present can also enjoy a barbecue and music from several DJs.
On hand to decorate a canvas or two will be New York-based street artist Lady Pink, whose style is graffiti-led, and who will be donating money raised by her canvas art to Save the Children.
Other artists taking part include Nick Walker, Xenz and Tasso with Marie Curie Cancer Care and the British Lung Foundation among the various causes to benefit.
The contemporary art event is being held in association with clothing label Boxfresh.
