Hoppen wins prestigious European honour

Top interior designer Kelly Hoppen has had her fantastic career in the industry honoured by winning one of this year's prestigious European Women of Achievement Awards.The special awards were initiated in 1991 and look to promote the work of women who have taken an active part in all parts of political, civic and professional life, with previous winners including newsreader Angela Rippon and TV presenter and charity campaigner Lynn Faulds.
This year's ceremony was held at gracious Grosvenor House in London, with Hoppen recognised for her incredible achievement in growing her business from scratch to create one of the world's most highly-prized interior design firms.
"It's a fabulous award to win, especially as I had to compete against so many high-class entrants," said Hoppen.
"I've worked hard to build my business over the years and feel this is recognition of all the effort that has gone into it."
Started 27 years ago when she was just 17, Kelly Hoppen Interiors now has offices in London, Paris and New York, with recent projects including work on Victoria Beckham's new Hollywood home and even British Airways First Class cabins.
