Contemporary wall art is key to rental company success

A leading American rent-to-own company which offers homes and businesses in the US the chance to rent cool contemporary wall art pieces has explained some of the reasons behind its ongoing success.Artistic Resources was set up more than 30 years ago and now employs 15 in-house artists to design and create a huge range of contemporary wall art works, reports rtoonline.com.
Now, speaking at the launch of a new collaboration with RentDirect, which offers companies across the US the option to hire other office equipment on a short-term basis, Joe Rizk, president of Artistic Resources, described how his firm had been able to meet with such success.
"You can only rent one sofa per room, but you could rent up to four pictures per room. That is why we have a programme with Ashley Furniture to coordinate wall art with their latest fabrics," he said.
"We try to educate our customers on the things they can do to rent more art. Obviously, matching the art to the furniture is a good basic tip, and so is the easel system," he continued.
"By placing a tasteful company logo near an American flag or some other iconic image, the rental store has a giveaway item that the customer will hang in their home," added Mr Rizk.
