One of the UK's brightest graphic designers has recommended ways the most stylish skate fans can create and make your own art to get a truly cool and unique board to show off this summer.Friends Ben Beach and Mark Graham went into business together to create graphic design company iLovedust just three years ago - and have now seen it attain a growing industry reputation for cool design. This climate of cool has seen the company expand quickly, and the firm has scored a string of high-profile commissions with big-name firms including the likes of Nike, Pepsi, Sony and Levi's.
Now, speaking to top design website digital arts, co-founder Beach has explained how, using a computer program, you can make your own art to create a skate-deck specific to your tastes.
Using the Illustrator program, Beach comments, your board can become a "mini art canvas on wheels" as vectoring and repeating a simple design pattern and then applying the design will quickly see you make your own art - and no doubt make a big impression on some jealous bystanders at your local skate park.
