Graduate exhibition set to showcase best in new design

The best new design ideas and characters from the UK's top colleges and universities will get their chance to shine as the annual New Designers exhibition returns.Now in its 22nd year, New Designers has gained a strong industry reputation as being the premiere place to spot up-and-coming new design talent, across a range of different sectors including fashion, textiles, furniture and interiors.
As well as featuring some 4,000 graduate exhibitors, this year's show, to be held at the Business Centre in North London, is expected to draw in more than 17,000 visitors, among them a range of top designers looking for the next best thing.
Some of the big names who have commissioned work from previous exhibitors - and who continue to lend their support to the show - include Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen, James Dyson and Wayne Hemmingway, with Karan commenting that the show features "some extremely talented people, a huge amount of collective energy and an immense quality of talent".
Such is the size and stature of the exhibition, that it now comes split in to two parts, with the first, from July 5th to 8th featuring the best in new design fashion, ceramics, jewellery and textiles while part two, between July 12th and 15th, showcases the latest in product, furniture and spatial design, as well as illustration and graphics.
